Gate for Jumex, 2024
Brief: A gate with two lockable doors is to be installed bisecting lengthwise across the widest expanse of the gallery space and to
be commissioned to a metal fabrication company previously hired by the museum. The gate to be crafted utilizing steel squared PTR tubular bars, based on a standard design commonly found guarding a point of entry in commercial and private properties around Mexico City. The gates to be repurposed by the gallery at the closing of the exhibition.

Brief: The gate’s doors are to be opened by the museum's security guards through time slots selected by the artist and museum
curators. During these periods, visitors were allowed to enter the gallery space.
CLOSED, 2024
Brief: The gate’s doors are to be locked by the museum guards and remain shut through time slots selected by the artist and the museum
curators. Visitors were not allowed to enter the gallery space through this period of time.
KEYS, 2024
Two sets of keys to open the gate doors are to be stored in a secure box, remaining locked when not in use. The museum guards are to be
provided with a set of keys for the safety box to open the gate doors during opening times.

Brief: Two full dome security mirrors purchased from one of the Museum's suppliers, are to be hung at standard hanging height on opposite walls of the gallery space enclosed by the gate. The mirrors reflecting the exhibition space containing Martin Creed’s Work No: 1051, 2010 composed of thin slabs of different types of marble from around the
world, installed permanently as the floor of the basement-level of the museum, as well as other works in the exhibition, museum visitors
and exhibition guards.

Brief: Two full dome security mirrors purchased from one of the Museum's suppliers, are to be hung at standard hanging height on opposite walls of the gallery space enclosed by the gate. The mirrors reflecting the exhibition space containing Martin Creed’s Work No: 1051, 2010 composed of thin slabs of different types of marble from around the
world, installed permanently as the floor of the basement-level of the museum, as well as other works in the exhibition, museum visitors
and exhibition guards.

Liberty Roses (Black and White), 2024
Brief: A group of Mexican sign painters (rotulista) was commissioned to reproduce an image sourced from Liberty London’s website, featuring Liberty
Fabrics Carline Rose Crepe de Chine in black and white. The six identically painted aluminium panels mounted on PTR frames to be hung
on the largest wall inside the enclosed gallery space.
