Mariposa, 2020 exhibited at Peak, located inside Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre, was part of Distant Peak, a series of exhibitions which took place months before the long announced closing and demolishing of the Shopping Centre home to mainly Colombian owned businesses, who have now been relocated in the area. The shopping centre was also a community hub for latin American immigrants in London since its opening in 1965.
